About This Campaign

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending." - Maria Robinson

This mantra is the core of Marathon4Kids founder, Tony Anderson, and his quest to support local children in need of a mentor to help guide them to find their new ending.

Tony's mission is to run a marathon in each of the country's 50 States (plus DC) to raise funds for Bigs. To date Tony has completed 49 marathons has raised well over $400,000!!

You're invited to become a Buck-A-Mile Club Member, and support Tony's efforts and Marathon4Kids:

  • - Donate $1 per mile or $26.20/marathon (3 to 4 per year)

  • - Pay individually $26.20 or annually $104.80

  • - Donate $10 per mile or $262.00/marathon (3 to 4 per year)

  • - Pay individually $262.00 or $1,048 annually

100% of all donations stay local and are used to create and maintain life-changing relationships between carefully screened, caring adults and kids in need in our community!

Be a part of new endings for local children in our community who need our help!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern MI

Campaign to Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern MI

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Michigan provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. The organization currently serve children in a 5 county region in Northwestern Michigan. For over 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Michigan has been bringing smiles to the faces of children by matching them with adult volunteers in fun and rewarding mentoring relationships. The impact it has on children in the program is priceless, and the heartwarming stories we've collected from Big and Littles in our program over the years are endless.Mentoring is a powerful thing. It’s fun, most anyone can be a mentor and it’s life-changing. By simply participating in fun activities together and forming a trusting bond with a child, it can potentially rewrite a child's future, for the better. However, for as big of an impact that mentoring makes on a child, you’ll be amazed at what it will do for you, too

Tony knows all too well what it's like growing up without a father.

Great work Tony. We are members of Cherryland Coop in Northport. I also have had a marathon "career" with only 33 completed when I had to stop running due to medical problems. Keep up the good work.
